MY DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

I’ve always believed that design isn’t about trends — it’s about feeling. A home should comfort you, inspire you, and reflect the rhythm of your life.

Color is my first language. I learned early on, while designing silk flowers, how nature uses endless shades — never just one flat tone — to create depth and harmony. That understanding still guides every room I design today.

My work blends classic craftsmanship with a relaxed, modern sensibility. It’s deeply influenced by my Southern roots, European travels, and the quiet beauty of nature — soft sunlight, garden greens, the blush of ripe fruit, the patina of age.

My Husband and I recently downsized into a condo. unit and we were out shopping for singular furniture pieces one day and happened upon Jere Bradwell's design center and small showroom in Bucks County, PA. How fortunate we were to walk into his showroom and more importantly meet Jere. We had some previous exposure, with other properties, to interior design professionals with limited success. Jere befriended us immediately with his engaging personality and pleasant demeanor. We quickly moved from looking at singular furniture items to having Jere come to our home for a no commitment walk through. We can honestly tell you now it was one of the best decisions we have made. Jere has amazing talents in color coordination, interior design, spatial relationships, and finishes coordination. Jere not only listened to what we liked/did not like, but at the end of the evening we all felt we had made lifelong friends. I can't think of any "vendor" we have engaged in our lifetime, that we would welcome into our home as we would Jere. He has just completed the initial phase of our condo interior design and we could not be happier with his selections, attention to small details, and the budget. He is an outstanding design professional and a better person. We so look forward to continuing the design of our condo and working alongside Jere.

Our dream house in Park City, Utah wouldn't have been possible without Jere Bradwell. Jere assisted us with our selections of exterior and almost all of the interior design, from roof materials and siding to all of the tile and stone work, furniture, hardware, wallpaper, paint colors and accessories. He worked really well with our builder. The six bedrooms each have their own personality and elegant comfort. The gorgeous custom window treatments and lush bedding were created in the in-house workshop. The furniture and lighting completes the look and feel of each room. One guest described "feeling like royalty" when she retired for the evening in her bedroom suite. Jere accomplished the magnificent interior decor by listening to us, understanding our vision and using his experience and innate knowledge of color and fabrics. We put our trust in him and were rewarded a hundred fold by the end product. Jere was with us every step of the way, always with a smile and a willingness to go the extra mile. I started my career surrounded by color, texture, and flowers — and I’ve never lost that fascination with how they shape emotion. I love bringing joy and personality into every project, and I believe design should always feel personal, never pretentious.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with clients from Lambertville and New Hope to South Florida and the Hamptons — many of whom have become lifelong friends.

What I value most isn’t the finished room, but how people live in it — how they cook, host, laugh, and rest. That’s where real design begins.
